Meet the team
Tal Barhom is the Founder of Propter, and a licensed builder and property developer with close to two decades of hands-on experience across the full property lifecycle in Australia.
He began his career onsite at 18 and has since project-managed the delivery of hundreds of residential units, personally constructed luxury homes, and transacted extensively as both a buyer and seller across the Sydney market. His experience spans site acquisition, feasibility, development management, construction delivery and asset disposal across residential and mixed-use projects.
As Founder and CTO of Propter, an AI-native operating system for the Australian property transaction lifecycle, Tal leads product and technology across search, valuation, compliance and transaction infrastructure. His background combines deep practical knowledge of how property deals are built, funded and delivered with the technical capability to systemise them.
At Propter Capital, Tal focuses on the property and delivery side of funding solutions, applying a builder and developer's understanding of project risk, cost and execution to structuring finance that actually works on the ground.
Rael is a real estate finance and investment professional with more than 15 years of experience across real assets, structured finance, investment underwriting, debt structuring, capital raising and transaction advisory in Australia, the US, UK and Europe.
He began his real estate career in New York, working across property investment, development and real estate capital markets. His experience includes underwriting and arranging senior and bridge debt, mezzanine finance, preferred equity, joint venture equity and development funding across residential, multifamily, hospitality, retail, office and industrial assets.
Rael has subsequently held senior roles across investment management, project finance and transaction advisory, with experience managing complex financings, institutional investment processes and capital raises.
At Propter Capital, Rael focuses on structuring funding solutions for property investors, developers and businesses, combining institutional-quality financial analysis with a practical understanding of real estate transactions and capital markets.
